YASSS fall is finally here! It’s no secret that autumn is my favorite season (hell, I even named my daughter after it). I mean what is there not to love about it? Don’t get me wrong, I love summer – but after months of sizzling heat, it’s hard not to celebrate the coming of fall. While the cooler weather is definitely something to be excited about, there are still other reasons why fall triumphs all other seasons. Don’t believe me? I’ll prove it to ya! Here are 6 reasons why fall is the best season of them all.
1. Bathing suit season is FINALLY over
I don’t know about you but fall fashion is my absolute favorite because it’s so easy to be comfortable & cute at the same time. I’m not all that great at style, but anyone can be a fashionista in the fall! All you have to do is throw on some leggings, an oversized sweater, a scarf and some boots and you’re good to go! Not to mention, fall attire is a great reason to participate in Stop Shaving September, Only Armpits October, No Shave November and Don’t Shave December. I’m just sayin’!
2. The holidays
You mean it’s finally acceptable to let my kid dress in whatever the hell they want, run buck wild throughout the neighborhood AND I get to eat all their free candy? Then, not even 30 days later, it’s also acceptable to publicly stuff my face with turkey, an unlimited amount of carbs AND then pass out on couch? Um, can it be fall all year round??
3. All things pumpkin
Pumpkin carving, pumpkin scented candles, pumpkin seeds, pumpkin bread, pumpkin pie, pumpkin muffins, and pumpkin spice lattes – need I say more? I mean, I’ve never met a pumpkin I didn’t like. Call me basic, I don’t care.
4. It’s freaking pretty
Sure, the leaves are pretty and all. But now I can be pretty too. I don’t have to worry about sweat stains or my make-up melting off my face from the summer heat. #Winning
5. Funtober
Hayrides, picnics, corn mazes, bonfires and haunted houses! Fall makes it hard not to want to spend every possible moment you can outside. So it’s a good thing there are a ton of events going on almost every day during the fall season. Some of my favorites include apple picking, visiting the pumpkin patch and of course the fair (mainly so I can get a turkey leg and a funnel cake).
6. Money in the Bank
Well not exactly. But since the weather is finally cooling down there’s no need to run the AC all day which means you can expect a lower power bill. Who doesn’t love saving money?! My last power bill was over $400 and that’s just disrespectful. Farewell AC, hello open windows.
Aaahh, fall…
Welcome, we’re glad to have you.
Definitely agree!! Love this time of the year as well! Omg over $400 for your power bill?! I guess I should no longer complain about mine lol
Haha girl yes it was ridiculous!!
